The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI), a statutory body under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, has opened its internship program for the July 2025 quarter. This initiative is part of the FSSAI Internship Scheme 2024, designed to provide young professionals and students with hands-on experience in the domain of food safety and standards regulation across India.
FSSAI offers internships throughout the year to provide students with exposure to food regulatory mechanisms, scientific research, administration, and public outreach. Interns are assigned specific divisions at FSSAI Headquarters, Regional Offices, and National Food Laboratories, depending on their background and interest.
Applicants must be currently enrolled in a full-time undergraduate, postgraduate, or higher degree course from a recognized institution in India or abroad. Completed degree holders are not eligible. The eligibility differs based on the subject domain:

A stipend of ₹10,000 is provided for the complete duration, subject to performance and assessment by the reporting division.

DRDO ARDE Internship 2026 offers 40 engineering seats in Pune with a ₹5,000 monthly stipend for six months. Applications must be sent by post before 5 July 2026.
DRDO NPOL Internship 2026 applications are open for final‑year engineering and science students. The program offers 35 seats and a ₹30,000 stipend for a six‑month research internship in Kochi.
DRDO RCI Paid Internship 2026 is open for final‑year engineering and science students. The program offers 160 seats, ₹5,000 monthly stipend and hands‑on work at DRDO’s avionics lab in Hyderabad.
The DRDO DLJ Paid Internship 2026 offers engineering and M.Sc students a 6‑month research internship at Defence Laboratory Jodhpur with a ₹5,000 monthly stipend.
DRDO DIHAR Paid Internship 2026 is now open for B.Tech students with ₹5,000 monthly stipend. Only 3 seats available in Leh Ladakh. Applications close June 5.
