Applicants must fulfill the following conditions:
- Should be currently enrolled in a B.Tech./B.E./M.Tech./M.E./M.Sc. program in a reputed institution in India.
- Must be from disciplines such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE), Electrical Engineering (EE/EEE), Engineering Physics, Instrumentation, Mathematics, Physics, or Management.

How to Apply for OIP 2025?
Here’s a step-by-step guide:
- Visit the official portal of IIIT-NR: https://ims.iiitnr.edu.in/Outreach/Home.aspx
- Click on “Login/Register” from the top-right corner.
- Fill the online application form accurately.
- Upload the following documents:
- Recent passport-sized photograph (digital format)
- Signature (digital format)
- Recommendation letter from your HoD or a faculty member (must have institute seal)
- No hard copy needs to be sent via post.
- Wait for the selection list to be announced by the institute.

Financial Assistance & Stipend Information
- Interns who complete a minimum of 6 weeks of offline work and get a positive review from their faculty mentor will be eligible for a stipend.
- Stipends are limited and offered based on faculty recommendations.
- Hostel accommodation will be available at nominal rates (subject to availability). Food and other expenses are borne by the intern.
- Only certificates will be issued for internships shorter than 6 weeks or not meeting completion criteria.
Instructions for Selected Candidates
At the Time of Joining:
- Report at the main gate with:
- Internship Letter
- Printed Application Form
- Parent Institute ID Card (original + copy)
- Any other required documents
- You will be directed to your assigned hostel room (if accommodation is requested).
During Internship:
- Daily attendance is mandatory at the institute office at 10 AM and 6 PM.
- Absence without notice may lead to cancellation of the internship.
Selection Procedure
- Candidates are shortlisted based on:
- CGPA / Academic Performance
- Project Proposal / Research Interests
- Technical Experience or Interview (if applicable)
- Each selected intern is assigned a faculty mentor, and confirmation is subject to the mentor’s willingness and committee approval.
