About the Team: US Omni Tech

The US Omni Tech team gathers insights about customer needs and converts them into technology-driven product roadmaps. The group focuses on building solutions that improve customer satisfaction while supporting Walmart’s commitment to Everyday Low Prices through efficient and scalable systems.

What You Will Do

You will collaborate with developers to write code and contribute to large-scale systems such as:

  • One of the world’s largest private customer databases
  • Master data systems for items and supply chain operations supporting online and offline channels
  • Mobile applications that improve the experience for associates
  • Security frameworks and cryptology systems
  • Integration layers connecting suppliers and B2B partners
  • Large private cloud platforms
  • Distributed systems and service-oriented architectures
  • High-performance, scalable, and reliable platforms including large in-memory databases

What You Will Bring

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or an equivalent program, expected to graduate in 2027
  • Minimum combined aggregate score of 7 or above across semesters
  • Strong understanding of core computer science concepts including data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming and design
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language such as C, C++, or Java
  • Ability to analyze data, diagnose issues, and propose effective solutions while working in a fast-paced environment
