Role Overview

As a Security Research Intern, you will assist in the design and execution of research in areas such as malware analysis, vulnerability assessment, adversary tracking, threat intelligence, and detection and remediation development. You will contribute to solutions that disrupt adversaries and enhance defensive products and services, while supporting operational security and incident response.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze threat trends and anomalies to assess operational impact.
• Identify threat vectors and propose mitigation strategies.
• Process threat reports from internal and external sources.
• Detect and document security vulnerabilities and gaps in guidance.
• Contribute code for detection, malware analysis, threat analysis, or reverse engineering.
• Collaborate across teams to ensure timely integration of deliverables.
• Engage in protecting tools, techniques, and results of security practices.
• Respond to security incidents and incorporate pen testing results to improve products.

Qualifications

• Required: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Must have at least one academic term remaining after the internship.
• Preferred: Pursuing a Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
