Job Summary

Flex is looking to add a Junior Executive for Program Management in Coimbatore. The Program Management vertical supports Program Managers as a virtual, customer-focused team member on program management activities.

What a typical day looks like

• Coordinate and follow up on several program management reports within the offshore center (Global Business Services - GBS) and site Customer Focus Team.
• Oversee and coordinate program activities with all inter-departments, ensuring completion of all commitments made against agreed deliverables.
• Handle highly confidential and critical data.
• Track relevant metrics and drive action items based on results within the GBS and site Customer Focus Team.
• Demonstrate excellent communication, coordination and customer management skills.
• Lead and drive activities and ensure timely, accurate delivery of services.
• Maintain good documentation at various stages of the program.
• Apply a strong understanding of Program Management concepts, New Product Introduction, New Product Development and the phases of the product life cycle.
• Hold a basic understanding of financial terms, INCO Terms and their impact on business profit and loss.
• Understand the customer focus team's role in managing the customer well.
• Use ERP tools such as Baan or SAP for PM role with hands-on experience.
• Use MS Excel, PowerPoint and similar tools with excellent proficiency.
• Knowledge of MS Project is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of office automation or automation through Excel is an advantage.

The experience we're looking to add

• Bachelor's degree from Engineering, Management or equivalent.
• Typically requires a minimum of 0-3 years of related experience in the PM domain.
• Preferably 1-3 years of experience in the manufacturing industry in the Program Management domain.
• Strong understanding of Program Management concepts, NPI, NPD and product life cycle phases.
• Basic knowledge of INCO Terms and their impact on P&L.
• Good understanding of the customer focus team's role in customer management.
• Hands-on experience with ERP tools like Baan or SAP for PM role.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Excel, PowerPoint and similar tools.
• Knowledge of MS Project is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of office automation or Excel automation is an advantage.
