Job Summary

Flex is looking to add a Junior Financial Analyst (Cost Accounting Solutions) to its extraordinary teams in Chennai. The role supports teams that build great products and help the company grow.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out the defined cost accounting activities
• Understand corporate policy and follow up on key cost accounting metrics
• Drive time-saving and cost-reducing initiatives through pocket kaizens and process improvements
• Work with the operations team and track reasons for metric non-conformances through regular follow-ups
• Post month-end journal entries for accruals and reclasses in the ERP
• Prepare and maintain SOPs in line with the latest processes and document them in the DMS
• Learn the role and serve as a backup for the cost accountant

What We Are Looking For

• Basic knowledge of MS applications
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English
• Good team player with analytical skills
• Willingness to learn and apply new skills in daily processes
• Understanding and interpretation of accounting policies
