Job Description

• Carry out data-intensive tasks such as compilation, validation, reconciliation, manipulation and transformation to prepare data for analysis.
• Handle allocation of data acquisition and enrichment, calculation and reporting production tasks that support pricing and reserving activities, with a strong quality control element.
• Perform preliminary analysis and ensure data accuracy and readiness for actuarial modeling.
• Carry out routine work assignments using actuarial software and Excel template-driven models, ensuring data accuracy and readiness for actuarial analyses.
• Validate data based on established processes, review data trends and generate actuarial reports. Make adjustments and improvements to templates and data where appropriate.
• Compile reports or exhibits under supervisor review.
• Measure actual versus plan performance, run initial analysis to identify drivers, and flag unfavorable trends or data discrepancies for further analysis.
• Prepare technical documentation for the actuarial analysis performed.
