Job Summary

To support our teams that build great products and contribute to our growth, Flex is looking to add a Technician for Engineering Change Management in Chennai.

What a typical day looks like

• Create part numbers for the BOM in Agile and Baan, and create AVL entries in the Agile and Baan systems.
• Download customer documents such as product specifications and release them in CDC. Work as a change analyst during NPI for new changes.
• Release part lists to production for new models and after ECO implementation. Manage ECOs efficiently for manufacturing sites across the globe, using Agile PLM for ECO creation, review, routing, tracking, release and distribution.
• Study ECOs and drawings closely and coordinate with the site process and product engineering teams.
• Work closely with engineering and materials teams to review product updates and modifications.
• Respond to business partners (requestors) and customers on queries about Engineering Change Orders, and ensure adherence to targets set for all process metrics.
