About the Role

Microsoft is inviting applications for the position of Security Assurance Intern across multiple locations in India. As part of this internship, you will work alongside experienced security engineers to analyze threats, identify vulnerabilities, and develop mitigation strategies. This role offers hands-on experience in secure software development, operational security assurance, and incident response.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze threat trends and anomalies to determine operational impact and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Identify and escalate security defects or vulnerabilities, and address deficiencies in security guidance.
• Collaborate with customers and partners to resolve security issues using appropriate tools and methodologies.
• Prepare and present analysis reports with findings and recommendations to decision makers.
• Plan and schedule security analysis activities, adjusting priorities based on findings and operational needs.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
• At least one semester or term remaining after the internship period.
