Job Overview

Infosys BPM Limited is seeking a motivated Systems Engineer to join our BPO Service Line in Bangalore. This role offers an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates to work on cutting-edge AI/ML projects and develop skills in model engineering, data pipelines, and production deployment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing, training, and evaluating AI/ML models for diverse business use cases.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to build data pipelines and prepare datasets for model development.
• Support model implementation and deployment in production environments, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in Python and related libraries.
• Participate in proof-of-concepts, research activities, and continuous learning of new AI frameworks and technologies.
• Work with cross-functional teams including data engineering, product, and domain experts to deliver AI-driven solutions.
• Contribute to GenAI application development using frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, and Crew.ai (optional).
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement enhancements.
• Apply best practices in MLOps, version control, model tracking, and testing.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong understanding of machine learning fundamentals, including supervised and unsupervised learning.
• Knowledge or experience in AI model engineering.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C++.
• Familiarity with ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn.
• Understanding of core concepts in NLP, computer vision, generative AI models, and deep learning architectures.
• Good grasp of data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving techniques.
• Basic knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Strong foundation in mathematics, including probability, statistics, and linear algebra.

Preferred/Good to Have

• Exposure to LangChain, LangGraph, Crew.ai, or other agentic AI frameworks.
• Experience with Flask, FastAPI, or Django for ML application development.
• Knowledge of version control systems (Git), CI/CD, and MLOps tools.
• Participation in AI/ML competitions, Kaggle projects, or relevant internships.

Educational Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, Information Science, Electronics, Electrical, AI/ML, Data Science, or related fields.
• M.Tech/MS in related fields (optional for fresher hiring).
• Strong academic projects in AI/ML will be an added advantage.
