Job Summary

This role covers automation development, tool administration, and monitoring work. The administrator designs, builds, tests and deploys automation solutions, including scripts, workflows and bots that take over repetitive tasks, and integrates enterprise tools and platforms to streamline operations.

Day-to-day work includes managing automation platforms and operational tools, performing upgrades, configuration changes and health checks, and making sure tools stay available and perform well. The role also looks for manual activities that can be automated, analyzes existing workflows, and drives continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Build dashboards, reports and automated alerts, track operational KPIs and automation success metrics, and provide management reporting.
• Integrate systems using APIs, web services and automation platforms, supporting data exchange between tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, Azure DevOps, AWS and monitoring solutions, and develop custom utilities.
• Troubleshoot automation failures and tool-related incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive fixes for production and business-critical environments.
• Validate automation workflows through functional, integration and regression testing before deployment.
• Maintain technical documentation, runbooks and SOPs, ensure compliance with security, audit and change-management requirements, and create knowledge articles for support teams.
• Work with operations, infrastructure, application and business teams, gather automation requirements, translate them into technical solutions, and provide user training and tool support.
