Job Summary

This role focuses on automation development, tool administration and monitoring for enterprise operations. The administrator designs and maintains automation solutions, supports the platforms and tools they run on, and reports on operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Automation Development: Design, develop, test and deploy automation solutions. Build scripts, workflows and bots to automate repetitive tasks, and integrate enterprise tools and platforms to streamline operations.
• Tool Administration and Support: Manage and maintain automation platforms and operational tools. Carry out upgrades, configuration changes and health monitoring, and make sure tools stay available and perform well.
• Process Improvement: Identify manual activities that suit automation, analyze existing workflows and recommend optimizations. Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitoring and Reporting: Create dashboards, reports and automated alerts. Track operational KPIs and automation success metrics, and provide management reporting and insights.
• Integration and Development: Integrate systems using APIs, web services and automation platforms. Support data exchange between tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, Azure DevOps, AWS and monitoring solutions. Develop custom utilities and enhancements.
• Incident and Problem Management: Troubleshoot automation failures and tool-related incidents. Perform root cause analysis, implement preventive fixes and support production and business-critical environments.
• Testing and Quality Assurance: Validate automation workflows before deployment. Perform functional, integration and regression testing to confirm that solutions meet business requirements.
• Documentation and Governance: Maintain technical documentation, runbooks and SOPs. Ensure compliance with security, audit and change-management requirements, and create knowledge articles for support teams.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with operations, infrastructure, application and business teams. Gather automation requirements, translate them into technical solutions and provide user training and tool support.
