About our group:
The Product Assurance Engineering Team is part of Seagate’s Quality function, responsible for the verification and validation of Seagate's HDD, SSD, and Systems portfolios. As part of a fast-paced, global team, we focus on delivering affordable solutions for mass capacity environments. We foster a collaborative team environment while recognizing individual contributions.
About the role – you will:
- Complete assigned internship project as per the planned timeline
- Assist with the maintenance of engineering laboratory and equipment
- Develop test infrastructure and frameworks for product validation
- Gain a deep understanding of storage system design and architecture
- Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless integration across the system
- Develop and execute test cases to ensure product reliability
- Generate detailed reports based on test results
About you:
- Strong knowledge of algorithms and data structures
- Self-motivated with a passion for learning new technologies
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to quickly adapt to new tools and technologies
Your experience includes:
- Proficiency in programming languages like Python, PHP, or Java
- Hands-on experience with testing, automation, networking, and lab equipment
- Knowledge of OS installation and configuration
