Overview
About the Team
The Corporate Quality group, part of Seagate's Global Quality Team, plays a key role in implementing and enhancing the company's Quality Management System. The team ensures cross-functional alignment and is responsible for:
- Developing and maintaining the Global Quality Portal and Corporate Quality websites
- Overseeing the Seagate Continuous Improvement process (8D & Lesson Learned system) through the 8D/LL Steering Council
- Leading the Seagate Management System Documentation Council
- Managing the Warranty Rates system
- Guiding Seagate's ISO Certification program via the PExA Council
- Reporting RQC (Customer Satisfaction) Metrics
Role Responsibilities
- Understand and work with data management infrastructure and pipelines
- Participate in agile software development processes
- Assist in building and deploying analytic infrastructure in a Linux environment
- Develop reporting and analytic tools, working with data from Hadoop clusters
- Contribute to AI application formulation and development
- Present project work to wider audiences, enhancing both technical and soft skills
- Engage in design decision-making and data strategy discussions, offering fresh perspectives
- Utilize Jira for application tool development
About You
- Eager to learn both technical and soft skills
- Passionate about teamwork and thriving in a fast-paced environment
Required Experience and Skills
- Experience in web development; Angular framework knowledge is a plus
- Proficiency in C, C++, Python, and/or TypeScript/JavaScript; full-stack development experience is advantageous
- Strong knowledge of SQL/PostgreSQL
- Experience with Linux environments and Docker is a plus
- Familiarity with Agile development processes
- Knowledge of Jira workflow systems
- Exposure to AI tools or projects is an added advantage

This role is based in Pune, India.
