About the Team
The Product Assurance Engineering Team is part of Seagate's Quality function, responsible for verifying and validating products across Seagate’s HDD, SSD, and Systems portfolios. Operating in a fast-paced global environment, the team is dedicated to delivering the most cost-effective solutions for mass capacity environments while fostering a collaborative culture that values individual contributions.
Role Overview
As an Automation Intern, you will contribute to the development of test infrastructure and frameworks, work on a dedicated internship project, and gain in-depth knowledge of storage system design and architecture. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of system components and assist in maintaining engineering labs and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop test infrastructure and automation frameworks.
- Execute an internship project according to the defined plan.
- Understand the design and architecture of storage systems.
- Create and execute test cases, and generate detailed reports.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure full system integration.
- Assist in maintaining lab facilities and equipment.
About You
- Knowledge of testing, automation, and framework design.
- Strong understanding of algorithms and data structures.
- Self-motivated with excellent analytical skills.
- Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new tools and technologies.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C, C++, or Java.
