Description

Philips is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Site Planning Intern to join our team in Chennai. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with an international team of architects, engineers, and designers to support the planning and design of hospital spaces for advanced medical imaging systems. This internship is ideal for students passionate about architecture and healthcare infrastructure.


Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development of preliminary project plans based on specialist requirements.
  • Support the analysis and interpretation of project documentation received from clients or internal teams.
  • Prepare and revise architectural floor plans for medical imaging rooms, including X-ray, MRI, CT, and IGT systems using AutoCAD.
  • Collaborate with the global site planning team to ensure alignment with technical and safety standards.

Eligibility

  • Education: Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field from a recognized university.

Technical Skills Required

AutoCAD, MS Office, Excel, Architecture Design, Layout Planning, Hospital Infrastructure, English Communication


Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Actively pursuing a degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a closely related field.
  • Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively in an international team.
