Overview
Philips is seeking a motivated Software Technologist I to join our innovative health technology team in Bangalore. In this role, you will contribute to the full software development lifecycle, working both independently and collaboratively with other team members to deliver high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in end-to-end software development processes, challenging requirements, designs, and quality standards.
- Act as a recognized technical expert in specific areas, leading design creation and guiding best practices.
- Handle moderately complex development tasks and collaborate with senior engineers to meet project goals.
- Design and execute test plans, including unit, integration, and system testing, ensuring performance and reliability.
- Conduct code reviews to maintain coding standards, identify potential issues, and foster continuous improvement.
- Support DevOps in deployment activities and monitor performance metrics for both individual and team deliverables.
- Investigate and resolve software defects through log analysis, issue reproduction, and effective fixes.
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation such as architecture diagrams, API specifications, and user guides.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry best practices to implement innovative solutions.
- Apply analytical skills to efficiently resolve medium-complexity requests within established procedures.
