Job Responsibilities

• Support tasks in the purchase-to-pay (P2P) process within your assigned scope, following directives and working efficiently within the department.
• Carry out routine assignments professionally, meeting quality standards, deadlines and established requirements.
• Follow Internal Control Systems procedures for P2P processes and comply with industry controls.
• Help document transactions and watch for errors, fraud and inefficiencies across the purchase and payment lifecycle.
• Check invoices against purchase orders and receipts, flag discrepancies promptly and keep documentation in order.
• Enter purchase data into accounting and purchasing systems so transactions are tracked accurately and records stay current.
• Help resolve routine issues or disputes related to purchases, deliveries or payments, supporting smooth processes and good vendor relationships.
• Keep up with purchasing best practices and industry trends through training, research and professional development.

The Purchase to Pay Intern supports P2P processes by ensuring compliance, precision and efficiency, documenting transactions, verifying invoice accuracy, maintaining purchase records and resolving routine issues.

How We Work Together

For office-based teams, this means working in person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence at company facilities. Field roles are mostly carried out at customer or supplier locations.
