This role is for candidates with a basic understanding of US individual tax returns (Form 1040). Graduates with a B.Com or BBM background are the typical profile.
Responsibilities
- Review underlying documentation and request any pending documents from clients.
- Identify discrepancies and fill in the data in the format required for Form 1040.
- Apply tax computation knowledge to individual returns.
Credentialed candidates such as Enrolled Agents or CPAs with US tax education may also be considered, usually at the 4+ or 5+ years experience level.
Work mode: Work from office only, due to data security and confidentiality requirements from clients.
