Job Description

• Carries out all Technical Support duties successfully.
• Supports the team with complex or uncommon requests by applying best practices.
• Works with other teams for assistance when needed to keep service at an excellent level.
• Supports local Technical Representative training when necessary.
• Keeps the workflow running when the coordinator and management are unavailable.
• Uses available resources to help customers select the best component for their application and offers related items with product support. Also provides support through the Mouser website and online chat.
• Shows customers how to navigate the Mouser website so they can find information easily and need less help from the Technical Support team.
• Communicates requirements and works effectively with customers, suppliers, Customer Service, Products, and other Mouser departments.
• Attends and contributes to supplier trainings and company meetings.
• Supports the Local Customer Service team and helps other teams when needed.
• Takes part in the company total quality process and represents the company professionally.
• Understands technical specifications to help select semiconductor, electromechanical, interconnect, embedded, and optoelectronic components and related tools and accessories.
• Uses block diagrams, schematics, test equipment, and test procedures to analyze and troubleshoot printed circuit board assemblies and sub-assemblies.
• Applies basic circuit theory, analysis, and design, and/or system-level configurations.
• Communicates clearly in writing and verbally through chat, phone, or in person, and interacts well with people inside and outside the organization.
• Shows strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills, reviews the impact of decisions before acting, and works thoroughly with the ability to multi-task.
