EDI Developer

This role focuses on EDI and EDIFACT transactions, from specification through to production installation.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand business concepts, business rules, data flow and database structures of the supported systems.
• Develop and deploy EDI and EDIFACT transactions, covering the full EDI lifecycle.
• Provide specifications, flow charts and/or pseudo-code for designing new applications or updating existing ones.
• Map data elements and understand compliant and non-compliant data elements across all transaction sets.
• Define and document flow-chart logic and data-flow diagrams.
• Recommend changes and improvements to support growth and scalability.
• Develop and maintain EDI transactions, including 810, 846, 850, 855, 856, 860, 865, 867, 870 and 997.
• Map and configure ANSI X.12 EDI and EDIFACT formats, as well as XML, CBXML and iDoc.
