Technical Support Representative at Mouser Electronics, Bengaluru

Job Description

• Carry out all Technical Support duties successfully.
• Support the team on complex or uncommon requests, applying best practices.
• Work with other teams for help when needed to keep service excellent.
• Support local Technical Representative training when necessary.
• Keep the workflow running when the coordinator and management are unavailable.
• Use available resources to recommend the best component selection for each application, and offer related items with product support. Also provide Mouser website and online chat support.
• Show customers how to navigate the Mouser website so they can find information easily and need less help from the Technical Support team.
• Communicate requirements and work effectively with customers, suppliers, Customer Service, Products, and other Mouser departments.
• Attend and contribute to supplier trainings and company meetings.
• Support the Local Customer Service team and help other teams when needed.
• Take part in the company total quality process and represent the company professionally.
• Understand technical specifications to help select semiconductor, electromechanical, interconnect, embedded, and optoelectronic components and related tools and accessories.
• Use block diagrams, schematics, test equipment, and test procedures to analyze and troubleshoot printed circuit board assemblies and sub-assemblies.
• Apply basic circuit theory, analysis, and design, and/or system-level configurations.
• Communicate clearly in writing and verbally via chat, phone, or in person, and interact well with people inside and outside the organization.
• Bring strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills. Assess the impact of decisions before acting, and work with detail and thoroughness while handling multiple tasks.
