ASIC Front-end Design Engineer
This role is designed as an onsite position with the expectation that the employee will primarily work from an HPE office.

What You Will Do
- Work as part of a fast-paced team responsible for delivering high-speed ASICs used in large and complex systems.
- Collaborate with system design teams across multiple geographies while contributing to advanced networking ASIC development.
- Participate in an environment built on open communication, teamwork, innovation, and performance-driven results.
Responsibilities
- Define and architect high-performance blocks for advanced networking ASICs.
- Perform micro-architecture development and logic design to achieve high throughput with optimized power usage.
- Work closely with verification teams to develop test plans and help debug test failures.
- Collaborate with physical design teams to create timing constraints, analyze timing violations, and implement timing fixes.
Required Qualifications
- Strong RTL coding skills using Verilog.
- Familiarity with Synopsys Design Compiler, Verplex LEC, and SpyGlass tools is desirable.
- Experience with networking protocols such as Ethernet or FCoE is considered an advantage.
- Understanding of high performance memory subsystems.
- Knowledge of multi-domain clock synchronization and high speed serial interfaces.
- Ability to debug ASIC related issues and resolve complex design problems.
- BSEE or MSEE degree is required.
