About the Role
Softius System is seeking passionate Full Stack Developer Interns to join our dynamic team for a 2-month internship. This is a full-time, work-from-home opportunity offering exposure to modern web technologies and collaborative development practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop both frontend (React.js) and backend (Node.js/Express) modules for scalable web applications.
- Collaborate with UI/UX, Product, and Backend teams to transform ideas into functional features.
- Create reusable components, REST APIs, and micro-features integrated with a centralized backend.
- Participate in Agile processes including daily standups, code reviews, and sprint planning.
- Integrate frontend applications with Node.js–PostgreSQL backend using best practices.
- Maintain code quality, write test cases, and ensure standards across multiple platforms.
- Design RESTful API endpoints with validations, error handling, and role-based access control.
- Optimize web pages and backend services for performance and scalability.
- Follow version control workflows and maintain clean documentation.
- Debug issues, apply hotfixes, and enhance application stability.
- Work with environment configurations, API integrations, and secure data handling.
- Write unit tests and assist in automating CI/CD workflows.
- Research and implement new features or frameworks relevant to multi-app ecosystems.
Technical Skills Required
- Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and asynchronous programming.
- Experience with React.js (Hooks, State Management, Routing, Component Architecture).
- Hands-on with Node.js & Express.js.
- Knowledge of MongoDB and/or PostgreSQL.
- REST API development expertise.
- Basic Git/GitHub workflow and API testing tools (Postman/Insomnia).
- Understanding of API authentication methods (JWT, OAuth, Sessions).
- Familiarity with responsive design and component-based architecture.
Bonus Skills
- Knowledge of Next.js or TypeScript.
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Basic understanding of Redis, RabbitMQ, or Kafka.
- Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP).
- Exposure to automated testing frameworks.

Eligibility Criteria
Open to students or recent graduates with B.Tech/B.E./BCA/MCA or equivalent degrees. Prior projects, GitHub profiles, or portfolios will be considered a plus.
