Job Title: Trade and/or Transaction Analyst

The Loan Trading team in India within TDI TSCO provides Middle Office support to the London and Frankfurt secondary loan trading desks under Investment Banking. The team manages the middle office activities across the loan trade lifecycle, including trade support and trade settlement for Credit Solutions Unit (CSU) and Distressed Product Group (DPG) activities.

Responsibilities include deal static setup, trade booking, documentation preparation and review, and supporting settlement activities. The role involves regular interaction with traders, sales, finance teams, agent banks, and clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage middle office trade support functions, including client static setup in the Loan IQ system with KYC checks, credit agreements, facility and loan setup, and control reporting.
  • Handle trade closing activities such as trade booking in ClearPar, documentation processing, portfolio position management, pricing letters, funding memos, fee management, and corporate actions.
  • Coordinate with trading desks, agents, and clients to resolve pre-settlement discrepancies and support ad-hoc requests.
  • Monitor workflow management across middle office operations.
  • Work with Legal and Compliance teams to support new regulatory reporting requirements and process implementation.
  • Participate in short-term projects focused on maintaining data integrity.
  • Liaise with treasury, operations groups, legal teams, and bank debt team members to resolve operational issues.
  • Maintain productivity monitoring processes and ensure quality servicing and processing standards.

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or postgraduate degree in Finance.
  • 0-2 years of experience in loan products.
  • Understanding of syndicated loan markets, secondary loan trading, and LMA market practices.
  • Knowledge of loan syndication, settlement operations, loan trade processing, and loan closing activities.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel.
  • Experience with Loan IQ applications is preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.
  • Shift coverage for APAC and EMEA regions.
