Job Summary

This role supports financial management by analyzing, reporting and reconciling financial and operational results. It identifies and researches variances to plans and gives recommendations to key stakeholders. The role takes part in budgeting and forecasting while making sure reporting stays compliant, supports priority projects, and maintains strong relationships with internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Extracts data and diagnoses financial drivers, using analytics to make recommendations to key stakeholders.
• Carries out detailed financial analysis for specific functions or business units, addressing financial issues and providing analytics for key business initiatives.
• Provides inputs for the monthly review of expenses and capital for budgeting and forecasting, and analyzes variances with operational analytics.
• Interprets financial reports, including forecasts, budgets, income statements, balance sheets and cash flow documents.
• Builds a thorough understanding of the organization's financial processes and of the company's operations and business.
• Supports the business by closing the books, analyzing variances and trends, and developing financial forecasts aligned with organizational objectives.
• Ensures compliance with reporting standards and corporate policies, and the integrity of external and internal reporting.
• Applies foundational principles and contributes to projects through research and data analysis, giving regular updates on progress and blockers.
• Supports priority projects, maintains stakeholder relationships and shares information through standardized reports.

Preferred Certifications

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• Certified Financial Analyst (CFA)
