Job Description

Candidates should have solid accounting knowledge, be well versed in MS Excel, have excellent communication skills, and have worked on trial balance and balance sheet activities.

Key Responsibilities

The main responsibilities of this role include the following:

• Perform month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities within defined timelines.
• Post journal entries with proper documentation and approvals.
• Handle daily cash, holdings, and trade transactions and their reconciliations.
• Prepare and review reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Perform variance analysis of P&L and balance sheet accounts.
• Support the preparation of TB checks and schedules.
• Ensure the accuracy of ledger balances.
• Ensure adherence to accounting standards (IFRS, US GAAP, or local GAAP).
• Maintain compliance with internal controls and company policies.
• Respond to queries from auditors, controllers, and business stakeholders.
• Support regional or global finance teams across geographies.
• Identify opportunities for process standardization and automation.
• Support transition activities and SOP documentation.
