BNY Mellon Hiring Data Management Specialist (Pune) | Freshers Eligible

Job Description

Working under direct guidance, you will work with internal and external datasets and client reference data to support the development of statistical, financial and econometric models. These models analyze asset performance, securities data, derivative pricing, risk exposure and other complex concepts. You will provide analytical support and prepare drafts of standard and ad hoc reports for your assigned area.

With general guidance, you will support your area with basic statistical and quantitative analyses. You may perform or oversee data management activities for more senior quantitative colleagues. You will run models, look for exceptions and take corrective action.

You will build knowledge of the technology tools used for analysis and apply techniques such as querying and macro development to extract data for models. You will also learn the processes and products, and which analyses and methodologies best assess performance, risk or valuation. You will interpret findings and prepare initial drafts of standard reports.

This role has no direct reports. You are primarily responsible for the accuracy and quality of your own work, which contributes to team goals.
