About the Role:
The Spec Analytics Analyst role is designed for professionals with developing expertise in analytics and data science. This role involves working with large and complex data sets to analyze, evaluate, and implement business strategies. The position requires applying statistical models, algorithms, and data visualization techniques to provide actionable insights, with a focus on areas like marketing, risk, digital, and AML fields.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with large, complex data sets to evaluate, recommend, and support business strategies.
- Use tools like SQL and Access to compile and analyze data sets for predicting and improving business outcomes.
- Document data requirements, data collection, processing, cleaning, and perform exploratory data analysis.
- Apply statistical models and data visualization techniques to interpret data.
- Assess risk in decision-making, ensure compliance with policies, and address control issues with transparency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build effective partnerships.
Qualifications:
- 0-2 years of relevant experience in data retrieval and manipulation.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills in a quantitative field.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented and adaptive to a matrix work environment.
- Proficient in data analysis tools and techniques.
Education Requirement:
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related disciplines.
