Responsibilities

Functional Responsibilities

• Identify and implement internal process improvements, including redesigning infrastructure to improve scalability, enhance data delivery, and automate manual processes.
• Develop analytical tools that use data flows to generate insights on key business metrics such as operational efficiency and customer acquisition.
• Assist stakeholders including data, design, product, and executive teams in resolving technical data challenges.
• Collaborate with executive, product, data, and design teams to address data infrastructure needs and technical issues.
• Stay updated with evolving technologies and industry practices to improve the quality of deliverables.

Technical Responsibilities

• Analyze large datasets to generate actionable insights and support decision making.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines using PySpark and related data processing tools.
• Write optimized SQL queries to extract, transform, and load data from multiple sources.
• Design and implement data models and schemas to organize and improve data storage and retrieval.
• Apply normalization and denormalization techniques to maintain data integrity and accessibility.
• Work with data engineers to centralize and manage organizational data assets.
• Ensure data quality through validation, cleansing, and monitoring processes.
• Utilize CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration and streamlined data deployment.

Banking Domain Responsibilities

• Work with banking datasets including customer transactions, loan performance, and financial statements.
• Support initiatives related to credit risk assessment and fraud detection.
• Maintain and optimize banking databases and data pipelines.
• Apply statistical analysis, ETL processes, and data modeling techniques for banking analytics.
• Leverage understanding of banking operations, financial products, and regulatory frameworks.
