About the Role
KPMG Global Services is seeking an enthusiastic AI Software Engineer (Associate 1 / Analyst) to join our dynamic AI Hub team. This entry-level position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge generative AI technologies while receiving mentorship from industry experts.
Key Responsibilities
- Model Development Support: Assist in designing, developing, and implementing generative AI models, including model selection, training, and fine-tuning.
- Algorithm Optimization: Support the enhancement of AI algorithms for efficiency, scalability, and performance using modern computing techniques.
- Data Preparation: Work with large datasets to clean, normalize, and perform feature engineering for AI model training.
- Model Evaluation: Help evaluate AI models using appropriate metrics, conduct experiments, and refine models based on results.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate AI solutions into enterprise applications.
- Learning & Development: Engage in continuous learning, receive mentoring, and build expertise in generative AI technologies.
- Documentation: Prepare and maintain documentation of model architectures, methodologies, and experimental findings.
Mandatory Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Python programming
- Understanding of ML models such as Decision Trees, Random Forest, XGBoost, and Deep Learning architectures (LSTM, RNN, CNN)
- Experience with NLP algorithms
- Hands-on experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch
- Exposure to Large Language Models (OpenAI, HuggingFace)
- Basic knowledge of GenAI frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, LlamaParse, LlamaCloud
- Strong front-end skills in Angular (v17+), TypeScript, ES6, HTML, CSS, SCSS, and UI frameworks such as Angular Material or PrimeNG
Preferred Skills
- Relevant AI certifications in GCP, Azure, or AWS
Behavioral Attributes
- Ability to take ownership of project deliverables
- Understanding of business objectives to align data solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Data Science
- 0-1 years of professional experience
