Job Description

Purpose of the Role

The role focuses on enabling strategic and operational decision making through data-driven insights. This includes analysing large datasets, applying statistical and advanced analytical methods to identify patterns, and presenting results using clear visualisations and reports.

Accountabilities

• Investigate and analyse data issues related to quality, lineage, controls, and identification of authoritative data sources. Document data sources, methodologies, and quality findings, and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Design and build data pipelines that automate the movement and processing of data.
• Apply advanced analytics to large datasets to identify trends and correlations, develop logical and validated data models, and generate insights that support operational improvements. Machine learning and AI techniques may be used where relevant.
• Translate analytical findings into practical business recommendations that support operational and process enhancements.
• Create interactive dashboards and visual reports using appropriate tools, and automate reporting for recurring and ad hoc stakeholder requirements.
