Job Description

This role provides financial expertise and operational support to specific business units within the organisation. The position acts as a link between the finance function and business teams, helping translate financial data into insights that guide business decisions.

Purpose of the Role

Provide financial insight and advisory support to business units while strengthening the connection between financial reporting and strategic decision making.

Key Accountabilities

• Develop and implement financial strategies, plans, and budgets for business units, using insights to assess the financial impact of strategic initiatives and recommend actions.
• Create financial models to forecast future performance, evaluate investment opportunities, and assess potential financial risks.
• Work closely with cross functional stakeholders to provide financial insights and business guidance.
• Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and implement solutions that enhance operational efficiency.
• Support business units in identifying, evaluating, and mitigating financial risks, while offering guidance on risk management and compliance practices.
• Analyse and present financial data to highlight trends, measure performance, and assist decision making.

Basic or Essential Qualifications

• Qualified accountant such as CA, CMA, or ACCA.
• Strong academic record with a first class honours bachelor’s degree from a reputable institution.
• Experience, if any, in month-end or quarter-end reporting roles, control environments, or finance automation related work.
• Advanced Excel proficiency.

Desirable Skills

• Ability to engage effectively with stakeholders and understand business requirements.
• Knowledge of CTB.
• Strong communication and interpersonal capabilities.
