HackerRamp: WeForShe is Myntra's hackathon for women engineering students in India. Teams clear a coding test, build a fashion-tech prototype with a Myntra mentor, and the top six present at Myntra's Bengaluru campus. Prizes are part cash, part Myntra vouchers, and finalists get Pre-Placement Interviews.

Eligibility
These are the rules Myntra published for the 2025 edition.
- Only female students at engineering colleges in India.
- Full-time B.Tech or B.E. students in 3rd or 4th year, or full-time dual degree students in 4th or 5th year.
- 18 or older.
- Teams of 2 or 3. Members can be from different batches and branches, but cross-college teams are not allowed.
- One team per person, and no changes to the team after registration.
- You agree to Myntra's IP terms when you register.
Eligibility has narrowed over time. In 2021 and 2024 Myntra also took 2nd-year B.Tech students and 1st or 2nd-year M.Tech students, and allowed cross-college teams. The 2026 listing on Internshala again named pre-final and final-year B.E., B.Tech and dual degree students.
Rounds and format
| Stage | What happens (2025 edition) |
|---|---|
| Registration and kick-off webinar | Register the team, then a webinar explains the rules and stages |
| Online assessment | Each team member takes a DSA and problem-solving test and must qualify |
| Strategy webinar and mentoring | Themes are explained and each team gets a Myntra mentor |
| Ideation and submission | Pick one theme, find a fashion-tech problem, submit a deck of up to 6 slides on Myntra's template, an MVP screen recording and code links |
| Virtual presentations | Present the same deck with a live MVP demo to judges |
| Grand Finale | Top 6 teams show a working prototype to senior tech leaders at Myntra's Bengaluru campus |
The coding test is new since 2025. Before that, the contest started straight with an idea deck. In 2024 Myntra said it would cover finalists' travel to the on-ground finale. The 2026 theme, as listed on Internshala, was "Myntra for Bharat: Build What's Next".
Prizes and PPIs
| Edition | Winners | 1st runners-up | Others |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2026 | Not published | Not published | Pool of up to ₹5.25 lakh in cash and vouchers (reported by Internshala) |
| 2025 | ₹2,00,000 cash + ₹1,00,000 vouchers | ₹50,000 cash + ₹50,000 vouchers | ₹15,000 vouchers per team |
| 2024 | ₹4,00,000 cash | ₹10,000 voucher per member | Certificates of merit for finalists |
| 2021 | ₹1,00,000 | ₹50,000 | 2nd runner-up ₹25,000 |
The PPI rule matters more than the prize. In 2025 Myntra gave Pre-Placement Interview chances for a Myntra internship to all six finalist teams, but only to students in their final year of study. In 2021 and 2024 the PPIs went to every team that reached the pre-finale. A PPI is an interview, not an offer. Teams that present in the virtual round get a digital participation certificate.

How to apply
Myntra moves the contest between platforms. The 2021, 2024 and 2025 editions were listed by Myntra on Unstop, and the 2026 edition was run with MyCareernet, its hackathon partner. When the 2027 edition is announced, register on whichever platform Myntra links from its own social pages, before the deadline. Registration is free, and the organisers say no deposit is ever needed. Brush up on DSA before you register, since the coding test now comes first, and keep your team inside one college.
More contests that lead to jobs: hackathons and hiring challenges and summer internships. Current Myntra openings are on talentd.
