Job Responsibilities

As a Software Engineer I in the Post-Trade division, you will:

Develop tools for the firm’s Post-Trade Platform, including reference data management, trade capture, reconciliation, P&L, trade cost management, surveillance, compliance, and regulatory functions.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and understand user requirements for new features.
Work across teams to design and develop reliable, scalable, and high-performance software.
Drive technological innovation in building middle-office and back-office applications and optimizing financial processes.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science from a top-tier college or university.
Experience: 0-3 years of relevant experience in software development.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Python and Java, with knowledge of shell scripting and Linux systems.
Familiarity with SQL databases such as MySQL and Postgres, as well as NoSQL databases like MongoDB and Elasticsearch.
Prior experience in electronic trading and knowledge of financial instruments (equities, commodities, credit, interest rates, FX, cryptocurrencies, futures, forwards, and options) is a plus.
Strong communication skills and fluency in English.

Eligibility

Open to candidates from the 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024 batches with degrees in Computer Science or related fields.
