What You Will Do

You will work with a team of developers building large-scale systems that power Walmart’s digital and retail ecosystem. Projects may involve building or supporting platforms such as:

• Large private customer databases and item master data systems
• Supply chain systems supporting online and offline channels
• Mobile applications that improve the experience for store associates
• Security frameworks and cryptology solutions
• Integration layers connecting suppliers and B2B partners
• Large-scale distributed systems and service oriented architecture
• High performance and highly reliable platforms
• Massive in-memory databases and private cloud infrastructure

What You Will Bring

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree (or equivalent) in Engineering, expected to graduate in 2027
• Combined aggregate score of 7 or above across all semesters
• Strong understanding of core computer science fundamentals such as data structures, algorithms, object oriented programming, and system design concepts
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as C, C++, or Java
• Ability to interpret data, identify issues, and develop effective solutions while working in a fast-paced engineering environment
