As part of Volvo Group’s commitment to developing young engineering talent, fresh graduates are invited to join through the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS). This program provides exposure to real industry projects and the opportunity to learn from experienced engineers while contributing to engineering and technology initiatives.
Key Skills and Knowledge Areas
- Strong understanding of automobile or mechanical engineering fundamentals
- Working knowledge of CAD tools such as Creo, SolidWorks, or CATIA
- Familiarity with MS Office tools including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Exposure to Power BI or data science concepts is beneficial
- Analytical thinking and the ability to interpret engineering data
Roles and Responsibilities
- Assist engineering teams in design and development related activities
- Support preparation and updates of CAD models, engineering drawings, and technical documentation
- Work with cross functional teams on product and process improvement tasks
- Learn and follow Volvo engineering standards and internal procedures
- Take part in technical reviews, analysis activities, and report preparation
- Provide support to ongoing engineering and manufacturing operations as part of the training process
