Overview
Transport is central to modern society, and this role supports sustainable transport and infrastructure solutions within the Trucks Technology & Industrial Division.
Purpose
- Assist the compliance manager in improving overall compliance levels and reducing risk exposure.
- Support compliance control activities including broker management, internal controls, and post-entry control.
- Help optimize import and export efficiency, reduce lead times, and lower costs through trading agreements and duty relief programs.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support process development for customs operations.
- Assist in handling customs duty drawback, EPCG, bank guarantee, TED refund, and related compliance matters.
- Identify process inefficiencies and support digitalization and automation initiatives.
- Support customs training programs for internal stakeholders.
Roles & Responsibilities
Key Customs and Trade Areas
- Customs privileges such as Free Zone, CKD, and Bonded Facilities.
- HS tariff classification and customs valuation management.
- Trade optimization and duty-saving opportunities.
- FTAs, trade policies, barriers, and measures.
- Origin control and customs training activities.
- Customs systems and automated solutions.
- Customs process development and improvement.
- Coordinate with legal, sales, technology, and operations teams on export control matters.
- Support license applications and communication with government agencies.
Main Responsibilities
- Support customs and trade process setup and management.
- Maintain customs databases and related documentation.
- Coordinate with customs authorities during audits.
- Work with suppliers, logistics providers, forwarders, and relevant authorities.
- Assist with customs broker evaluation and audits.
- Coordinate internally with legal teams on compliance-related matters.
- Support inbound and outbound freight flow improvements with a focus on customs lead time and cost reduction.
- Provide customs and trade compliance training to stakeholders.
Educational Qualifications
- Degree in Supply Chain, Customs, Law, Economics, International Business, or a related field.
- Knowledge of customs and trade compliance is an advantage.
- Understanding of logistics, supply chain, and the automotive industry is preferred.

- Interest in digitalization and automation development.
- Analytical and problem-solving capability.
- Ability to work independently and contribute to process improvements.
- Creativity in applying new methods, technologies, and solutions.
