Job Description

Volvo Financial Services India engages freshly graduated individuals for a year-long apprenticeship under the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme. This program provides practical training and skills development within various functions of Financial Services, helping to train future workforce members through a structured apprenticeship.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and follow up on collection of overdue accounts.
• Call and follow up with customers to negotiate collection of overdue amounts, maintaining relationships and monitoring market references.
• Maintain effective communication with customers and third parties such as lawyers, collection agencies, and repossession agencies.
• Identify asset deployment and monitor its movement and utilization.
• Regularly monitor repayment of accounts, analyze causes of delinquency, and report concerns timely.
• Resolve customer disputes promptly.
• Implement repossession of assets when necessary.
• Ensure integrity of collection data and customer logs, including visit reports.
• Maintain accuracy in uploading trails on all cases within set timelines.
• Strictly adhere to compliance requirements.
• Maintain relationships with collection agencies and their executives, following up and updating.
• Update payments in the VFS system.
• Handle collections follow-up across all buckets and repossession activities.

Education and Additional Knowledge

• Fresh graduate, preferably BCom or BBA.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.

Competencies and Skills

• Strong willingness to learn and explore career opportunities in the financial services industry.
• Strong communication skills.
• Knowledge of working in a process-driven organization.
• Ability to converse fluently in English, Hindi, and the regional language of the state; additional languages are an advantage.

Additional Information

• The apprenticeship is for one year, after which a certificate of completion will be provided; there is no guarantee of employment afterward.
• A fixed stipend of INR 16,500 per month will be provided during the apprenticeship.
• Insurance on Group Personal Accident and Term Life as per company policy.
• Travel reimbursement as per company policy on actuals based on set limits.
