Role Overview
This position allows students to develop practical knowledge and skills within a technical discipline while working under the guidance of a supervisor, manager, or senior associate. Assignments are typically structured to support learning and may be temporary or aligned with academic schedules.
Work may involve areas such as technical support, software development, data analysis and reporting, networking or infrastructure support, and DevSecOps or cloud-related activities.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Support
- Assist with troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
- Help resolve network connectivity problems and support system configuration tasks.
- Support IT teams in managing company devices.
Software Development
- Write basic code or scripts for internal tools and projects.
- Help test software to identify bugs or issues.
- Participate in code reviews and learn version control and secure coding practices.
Data Analysis and Reporting
- Assist with collecting, cleaning, and analyzing data.
- Create reports, dashboards, or visualizations using tools such as Excel or PowerPoint.
Networking and Infrastructure Support
- Support installation and configuration of network hardware.
- Monitor network performance and help identify potential issues.
- Assist in troubleshooting hardware, security, and infrastructure concerns.
DevSecOps
- Assist with automating routine tasks using scripts or programming tools.
- Support management of cloud infrastructure.
- Help maintain CI/CD pipelines and assist with application deployments.
Additional Activities
- Assist with general project coordination and progress tracking.
- Support research activities and help compile information for reports and presentations.
- Organize and maintain information related to team or project activities.
Basic Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Typically less than one year of experience in the relevant area.
