The Role: Client Success Analyst
The Client Success team consists of experienced professionals supporting global buy-side and sell-side clients across the US. Clients range from Tier 1 to Tier 3 organizations that expect a high level of service. The team works collaboratively in a fast-moving environment where responsibilities evolve daily.
This position focuses on ensuring a positive customer journey and maintaining meaningful touchpoints that strengthen long-term client engagement. The role contributes to product adoption, retention, and growth in platform usage while supporting account-level objectives.
Responsibilities and Impact
Client interactions help reinforce the relationship between S&P Global Market Intelligence and its customers. Delivering a strong service experience supports client adoption of solutions and promotes awareness of the platform within client organizations, contributing to revenue retention and growth.
What You Will Gain

Over time, you may grow within the Client Success team or transition toward more product-focused responsibilities. The experience also prepares you for potential roles in relationship management, sales, or product specialization.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to inbound client requests through the case management email system and telephony hotlines, working closely with global support teams in the US, EMEA, and Hong Kong.
- Provide coverage during US business hours.
- Act as a central point of contact for buy-side and sell-side clients for application support and client service needs.
- Conduct client meetings that include training sessions, product demonstrations, and assistance with transactions.
- Prepare scheduled or ad-hoc reports accurately and within required timelines.
- Troubleshoot client issues to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
- Work with Product Build teams to prioritize, track, and resolve production issues affecting clients.
- Collaborate with Product Specialists to share feedback from clients and stay informed about product roadmaps.
- Support onboarding activities with Professional Services teams, including training and user access setup.
- Stay informed about market or regulatory developments that may affect service processes and adopt updated procedures when required.
- Cross-train with global counterparts to strengthen application knowledge and maintain client coverage.
Basic Qualifications
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Interest in capital markets and financial markets.
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities with the capacity to interact with different levels of management and clients.
- Ability to build effective working relationships and maintain positive client interactions.
- Good organizational and time management capabilities to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
- Familiarity with internet-based applications.
