About the Role:
The Solutions Operations division is looking for a professional with strong interpersonal communication, organization, and time management skills to join the Global Special Services Team. S&P’s WSO (Wall Street Office) provides real-time access to client portfolios and reporting insights for active asset management, deal administration, trading activities, cash and position level transparency, and accurate P&L reporting. Supported by our WSO Administrator and WSO Agent product suites, WSO manages complex aspects of alternatives asset management with a scalable solution that enhances operational efficiency and reduces risk. Our solutions are available as hosted software or a fully outsourced managed service.
Responsibilities and Impact:
You will work within a dynamic team, handling all client-facing operations-related tasks, data research, and processing functions for the Special Services Team, which primarily supports WSO users and their loan processing needs. This position offers exposure to an exciting financial market and daily interaction with clients of varying seniority levels. It is an excellent opportunity to learn about finance, banking, the syndicated loan market, and Software as a Service (SAAS) technology.
- As a Specialized Account Services Analyst, you will support clients and the business by orchestrating workflow and ensuring prompt resolution between internal and external teams. This involves data reconciliation and validation of trades and positions to maintain syndicated facility data integrity.
- These tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Accurately reviewing and maintaining asset and contract data.
- Facilitating new deal creation and ensuring data point accuracy.
- Processing amendments, investigating discrepancies, and processing.
- Monitoring and actioning exceptions.
- Performing additional syndication loan maintenance.
Data Management and Controls:
- Reviewing source documents and files to ensure information is complete before entry into the database.
- Updating and entering records with a high degree of accuracy, ensuring compliance with business procedures.
- Verifying completeness, accuracy, and consistency of information by conducting quality assurance audits, identifying missing, incorrect, or conflicting information, and ensuring inconsistencies are corrected promptly.
- Supporting recurring audits and compliance checks of multi-database records.
