About the Role

The Solutions Operations division is seeking a professional with excellent interpersonal communication, organization, and time management skills to join the Global Special Services Team. S&P's WSO provides real-time access to client portfolios and reporting insights for active asset management, deal administration, trading activities, and accurate P&L reporting. The role supports complex aspects of alternative asset management in a scalable solution that increases operational efficiency and reduces risk.

Responsibilities and Impact

• Support clients and the business by orchestrating workflow and prompt resolution between internal and external teams, including data reconciliation and validation of trades and positions.
• Accurately review and maintain asset and contract data, handle new deal creation, process amendments, investigate discrepancies, and monitor exceptions.
• Adhere strictly to processing deadlines, quality-controlled operational processes, and industry standards for processing loan transactions and trades.
• Perform data management and controls by reviewing source documents, updating records with high accuracy, and conducting quality assurance audits.
• Identify internal and external processing issues proactively, working closely with internal partners and management on resolution plans.
• Lead research and projects on cross-product integrations and workflow enhancements to support client requirements and strategic growth.
• Serve as a subject expert for solutions products, joining client meetings to analyze needs and recommend operational flows and product usage.
• Capture user feedback and partner with leaders, peers, product associates, sales, and relationship managers on continuous improvement projects.

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in finance, economics, or a related field.
• Zero to two years of work experience within the syndicated loan industry, Loan IQ, or WSO systems.
• Willingness to work US shifts and handle stressful customer situations with patience and poise.
• Ability to organize and prioritize complex issues, think laterally, and question current processes.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement skills with proficient PC abilities in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Fluent English speaking, reading, and writing abilities with exceptional listening and communication skills.
• Proven ability to maintain strong relationships with senior members of client organizations and manage projects independently.
