Role Description
Join Novartis as an Intern Trainee Engineer in the NOCC Engineering team based in Hyderabad. This role supports operational business functions by managing external services and acting as a single point of contact between internal stakeholders and external partners. Key Responsibilities

  • Support engineering operations by managing contractors and external services
  • Assist in organizing project assignments and reviewing technical bids
  • Contribute to technical solution development and ensure legal, quality, and HSE compliance
  • Create and manage purchase orders using SAP/ESHOP
  • Maintain and update documentation through tools like SharePoint and Microsoft Office
  • Act as SPOC for external service providers, manage training coordination for external staff
  • Ensure timely and accurate implementation of procedures and process documentation
  • Collaborate with internal teams to drive GMP, safety, and cost-optimization in project deliverables
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings and provide innovative process improvement solutions

Performance Indicators

  • Quality and consistency in procedures and documentation
  • Timely creation and closure of Purchase Orders (POs)
  • No critical observations from internal/external audits
