About the Role

Meta is looking for an ASIC Engineer Intern to join its Infrastructure organization in Bangalore. In this role, you will work closely with our ASIC team to develop accelerators for high-demand workloads, ensuring our data centers scale efficiently. You will gain hands-on experience in design verification of advanced IPs using state-of-the-art tools, contributing to the creation of energy-efficient data center solutions.

Duration

The internship will last between 12 to 16 weeks.

Key Responsibilities

• Create tests, checkers, and coverage metrics to verify designs.
• Develop an understanding of architecture and microarchitecture of designs.
• Write SystemVerilog/UVM/C code for test content generation.
• Automate processes through scripting.
• Debug test failures and collaborate with design, verification, and modeling teams to resolve issues.
• Enhance verification processes and contribute to methodology improvements.

Minimum Qualifications

• Pursuing or holding a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Knowledge of Computer Architecture and Logic Design fundamentals.
• Ability to think critically and creatively to verify designs and solve problems.
• Valid work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire and throughout the internship.
• Intent to return to degree program after internship completion.

Preferred Qualifications

• Pursuing or holding a Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Familiarity with SystemVerilog, VHDL, or Verilog.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Perl.
