ASIC Engineer, Design
Meta is looking for an ASIC Engineer, Design to join the Infrastructure organization. This role involves building cutting-edge ASICs for machine learning, video transcoding, and network acceleration. The Infrastructure organization is responsible for creating and maintaining the data centers that host services like Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp. These servers and data centers are crucial for the efficient operation of Meta's rapidly scaling infrastructure and the delivery of innovative services.
As an integral member of the ASIC team, you will contribute to building accelerators for key workloads, enabling data centers to scale efficiently. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with experts in video transcode, AI/ML, and other technologies to evaluate algorithms, develop functional and performance models, and help architect state-of-the-art hardware accelerator ASICs. Join our expert engineers to develop "Green" data center accelerators.
ASIC Engineer, Design Responsibilities
- Participate in Micro-architecture, Design, and Verification reviews, providing feedback.
- Design and develop RTL or HLS code for various IPs.
- Analyze designs to enhance PPA (Power, Performance, Area).
- Support and develop Verification Infrastructure, analyzing and improving Verification Coverage.
- Support Simulation accelerators and post-Silicon validation.
