About the Role
Join Microsoft as a Product Design Intern and be part of a global community of university interns working on impactful, real-world projects. Key Responsibilities
- Define product requirements based on user insights and ideate solutions that meet customer needs.
- Create and develop design concepts and specifications to enhance both the emotional and functional aspects of products, software, devices, or services.
- Focus on delivering end-to-end user experiences, balancing design with business and technical considerations.
- Produce visual designs from concept through delivery, support interaction designs for hardware/software experiences, and contribute to hardware product designs.
- Participate in building and improving design systems to ensure consistent usage across projects.
- Conduct research to understand customer needs, communicate insights to internal teams, and act as the voice of the customer.
- Collaborate with partners and internal teams to support business outcomes and customer success.
- Engage in mentorships, trainings, and role-based learning to develop technical and design expertise.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Technology, or a related field.
- Must have at least one semester or term remaining after the internship period.
- Preferred: Relevant internship or work experience in areas such as consulting, business analysis, technical sales, technology solutions, or change management.
