About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Software QA Engineer to join the StudyHub team. This position is suitable for recent graduates or candidates with up to one year of experience who are interested in software testing and quality assurance.
Responsibilities
- Test web and mobile applications to ensure quality and reliability standards are met.
- Execute test cases thoroughly and report any defects clearly and concisely.
- Validate new features and bug fixes to confirm proper functionality.
- Collaborate closely with developers and product team members to understand project requirements.
- Perform functional, regression, and sanity testing as part of the quality assurance process.
- Assist in documenting test scenarios and recording test results.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of Software Testing and Quality Assurance concepts.
- Knowledge of web applications and mobile applications.
- Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn new technologies and processes.
- Basic knowledge of bug tracking tools (such as Jira, Azure DevOps) is considered a plus.
- Effective communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Exposure to test automation tools like Selenium or Playwright.
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
