Job Overview
Assist in the design and development of software solutions that require general domain knowledge and limited business expertise. The role involves troubleshooting code issues and helping enhance IQVIA platforms so they continue to meet evolving user requirements.
Essential Functions
- Support the design and development of software solutions with general domain knowledge and limited business exposure.
- Work across different layers of the application stack, including front-end interfaces and backend components.
- Identify and troubleshoot code-related issues while helping improve and evolve platform capabilities.
- Participate in reviewing functional specifications and other validation deliverables as assigned.
- Develop a foundational understanding of industry standards and IQVIA quality guidelines.
- Assist with smaller development tasks or projects under defined instructions and limited discretion.
- This role generally does not require prior relevant professional experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming languages such as Java, PHP, Ruby, or Python and understanding of core OOP principles.
- Experience with web development technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Familiarity with React or NodeJS is considered an advantage.
- Basic understanding of relational databases and exposure to SQL queries is preferred but not mandatory.
