Whether the work is internal or for a client, software development is critical to IBM and its clients worldwide. You will use the latest development tools, techniques and approaches, and collaborate with leading experts to build solutions you can be proud of.

We are looking for strong engineers with broad knowledge of computer programming and software engineering. In-depth knowledge of at least one programming language and fluency in a couple more is highly preferred. Graduate hires with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and those who have shown the ability to learn a wide range of technologies, including cloud, automation and AI-driven solutions, would be a great fit.

You will be a self-starter who needs limited supervision, with good communication skills and the ability to multitask and prioritize. This is a high-profile project at the core of IBM's new automation strategy, and working with a wide range of stakeholders will be critical to meeting the high standards expected.

Key Requirements

• Strong problem analysis and solving skills
• Proficiency in UI development
• Proficiency with programming languages
• Proficiency in system analysis, design, data structures and algorithms
• Understanding of how test-driven systems work
• Knowledge of API-driven interfaces
• Experience working with GitHub as source code control
• Data science and data engineering knowledge
• Knowledge of any cloud services, including IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure and GCP

A solid base in programming languages is required. Go, Java, Python or other scripting languages are useful.
